Starboard Hotels adds Best Western Plus Epping Forest Hotel

Starboard Hotels has added the 99-bed Best Western Plus Epping Forest Hotel in Woodford Green, north east London to its portfolio.

Starboard will manage the Waltham Forest hotel, which was refurbished as part of a rebranding of the former County Hotel in 2014, on behalf of Openview Properties, which acquired the hotel from FTI Consulting, administrators to Merrigold Ltd for around £8M.

The addition continues a very active 18 months for the company and increases Starboard's owned, operated and managed portfolio to 11 hotels with over 1,050 bedrooms, which now includes two Best Western hotels, five Ibis hotels, three Holiday Inn Express hotels and a Days Inn hotel.
