New opening - Hotel Brooklyn, Manchester

The Hotel Brooklyn has opened its doors on Portland Street in Manchester. The property is the sister hotel to Hotel Gotham on King Street.

Owned by Property Alliance Group, the hotel features 189 bedrooms with a restaurant, bar and meeting space.

Manchester's room count has grown year-on-year peaking in 2017 with the addition of 1,200 bedrooms. The market now stands at 168 hotels with 18,800 bedrooms. A further 1,576 rooms are slated to open in the city this year. Upcoming openings include the Hampton by Hilton Manchester Northern Quarter, Premier Inn Circle Square and Staycity Apartments Manchester Mason Street.
